Attorneys
Principal attorney Zachary Margulis-Ohnuma opened a solo practice of law in 2004 after clerking for a federal judge in the Southern District of New York and working at a large international law firm. He built the practice focusing on sex crimes, complex federal crimes, and serious civil rights abuses. The Law Office of Zachary Margulis-Ohnuma grew as Mr. Margulis-Ohnuma obtained reversals of state and federal convictions, acquittals in state court, and verdicts and settlements for tens of millions of dollars in civil rights cases. The firm incorporated as ZMO Law PLLC in 2020 and now has three full-time criminal defense attorneys.
