After working for a federal judge, at a large New York City law firm, and at a "boutique" litigation firm, Zachary Margulis-Ohnuma opened a solo practice in 2004. He focused on sex crimes and complex federal crimes, as well as cases of serious civil rights abuses. The practice grew as Mr. Margulis-Ohnuma obtained reversals of state and federal convictions, acquittals in state court, and multiple verdicts and settlements of millions of dollars in civil rights cases. The Law Office of Zachary Margulis-Ohnuma now consists of three attorneys and a paralegal focused on fighting for clients accused of sex crimes, complex federal crimes, and crimes involving technology including cell phones and the internet. Paralegal Elizabeth Ashlee Kuan, who expects to start law school in the fall of 2019, rounds out our team.
